Time to reflect

The month of November is almost halfway through... there seems a lack of activity on my blog, but, it does not mean that I've been idle- far from it! Be it personal or worklife, there's so much happening! It's just that I'm not in the mood to take pictures... hence, without the photogs, blogging is not that interesting...

Some weeks back, we had a hari raya gathering graced by none other than the Deputy Minister, Dato' Noraini. The food was quite ok (but many complained of diarrhea the day after). There was a really touching moment when the invited orphans rendered a thoroughly heart-tugging song. A lot of those in the audience were reduced to tears.
There were canopies for the event...

Here I was with Uji, Dila, Azua n Fadilah waiting for makan time...

Other colleagues...

The orphans singing their heart out... it still bring tears to my eyes when I recall their singing on that blessed afternoon...

Some hampers for the beautiful kids...

Dato' heading home... dang! I forgot to snap photos of her dashing PA again!

Then, last Saturday, I played a part in 'history', when 28 ADTEC students sat for the first ever MUET ever held on our campus. As pusat MB184, the candidates first sat for their speaking test on Tuesday, 4/11. The best part was, some students were lucky as a lot of what we discussed the previous day came out! For the 1st session, about 30% was there, while for the 2nd session, almost 80%! I can't imagine their excitement when they first laid their eyes on the question paper. Held at our library, most of them turned up in time, attired in what I told them to - collared Ts/shirt for the boys, and decent blouses for the girls - aren't I proud of them! The bad thing was, I forgot to take photos! and... one of them, Lim, could not make it. Called him like 7,8 x, but no answer!

Anyway, it started on time at 8, and ended at 12.30. The 3 invigilators were from SMK Sek 16 Shah Alam - Pn Hawa, Pn Liza and Pn Ng. Thanks a lot to them! We had a nice lunch afterwards... I also owe a lot of thanks to Pn Zuraidah n En Zainal from Jabatan Pelajaran Selangor (JPS - many of my colleagues thought it is Jab Parit & Saliran) who helped me make it possible.

I truly hope that more ADTEC students would sit for the exam next year!
